Happy Birthday Raha Lam-Ang Gabriel

Dearest Raha,

It's been a year....and time is really flying so fast...I really do not know what to say...coz until now, I do not know how to thank God for the "blessing" He have given us. It was after 9 years that I have felt the same feeling when I first got hold of your Ate Tala and Ate Mayumi...

.feeling you inside me (and you made it sure that I felt you though you were such so tiny then)
was just magical!

hearing your cry was just so fantastic (as if it was a sweet melody)...

......feeling you wanting my breast was so lovely.....
and it was that feeling that I was longing for 9 years!

Your Tatay, Ate Tala, Ate Mayumi  and I didn't ask the Lord for someone......we prayed, I prayed.....thanking Him for another opportunity of bringing into this world a blessing from Him....whether you are a he or she, doesn't matter, I told Him.

When my doctor told me  that you're a boy...I cried...because I knew then, that you are really a special gift from above!

You made me a mother again....you made me dream for more....you made your Tatay to be the best he can be...you made your Ate Tala and Ate Mayumi more better girls.....You complete me! You complete us!

MALIGAYANG KAARAWAN SA IYO ANAK,
RAHA LAM-ANG GABRIEL LAZARTE-BARCENA.

I love you, Nanay

midnight thoughts

....been a while since I post from this page...there are thoughts running on my mind right now...I guess this is the best time to blog it out.

first thought - BER is here....ohh yesss! i can feel the pressure but I have managed to take control of it...

second thought - my baby boy is turning into a little man so fast....ohhh, how time flies....I wish to spend more time with him...I am in the midst of wanting to be a stay at home mom....but....yes...there is a big BUT...will it be practical? oh come on, we all know that life nowadays are not easy...having 2 pre-teens and a baby is something I should be thinking over and over and over ----- missing my being a hands on mom :(

third thought - November is just a few months away --- and it is our big day! the happiest month for the family, why? it is our birthday month! Tala will be turning 11, Mayumi will be 10, Raha will be 1 and me, 40? and that is why thoughts are running on my mind....

40, here I come!

Father's Day

DeAr DaDdY, hApPy FaThEr’S dAy

usually, we only remember how to thank
our mothers for suffering during labors
just to bring us to life, we tend to
forget that our fathers played a part
in bringing us to this world, too.
Fathers should always be in strong
figures. They cannot show their
feelings freely, unlike our mother
who
can hug and kiss us even when we are
grown ups now.
But the truth is, a father is willing
to sacrifice anything just to be sure
his children are happy, well-provided
and safe wherever they are.
My father died in a way he did not like
but he must do it for the sake of his
family.
Daddy, i know you are with HIM and at
peace……..
Daddy, thank you for giving us the
strength to live our life.
You are a father forever.
I love you. Happy father’s day.
